Baltimore man, 24, charged in Dolphin Street shooting, police say – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Baltimore earlier this month, authorities said on Wednesday.
Hakeem Smith is charged with conspiracy to murder in the shooting that took place on March 8 at the 500 block of Dolphin Street, Baltimore Police said.

Officers who were called to the scene around 2 p.m. that day found a 42-year-old man who had been shot. The victim was taken into shock trauma for treatment of his injuries.

Based on preliminary evidence and witness testimony, detectives identified Smith as the suspect who shot and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, police said.
Smith was taken into custody on March 24.
