BALTIMORE, MD (WJZ) – Baltimore police said they were called to the 400 block of East Baltimore Street at about 1:28 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his back and upper arm.

Baltimore City Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
The shooting comes just days after State Senator Bill Ferguson said the state and city would work together to find new ways to prevent violent crime in the area.
Senator Ferguson does not want to move forward with legislation that would attempt to close businesses on “The Block” at 10 p.m. after objections from the business owner.
