Baker Mayfield’s attractive move in goodbye week

The Cleveland Browns are currently in a serious phase and enter Week 14 in desperate need of a win. A big reason they’re struggling is Baker Mayfield, who is facing a plethora of injuries that have affected his play.

Well, the Browns’ signal caller had a chance to regroup as the team said their goodbyes on Week 13, and according to him, recovery time was exactly what he needed. Via AP Sports:

“Quite a bit, to be honest with you,” Mayfield said when asked what the week had done for him physically. “I haven’t had any major setbacks in the past few weeks and I’ve got another week off so I look forward to continuing to get better as the weeks go on.”

Mayfield spent the week resting in Arizona just to let her body heal. Browns can move in a lead team game if they beat Baltimore Raven, who is currently in the top position.

The former Oklahoma standout player has been heavily criticized over the past few weeks for his lousy performance. Mayfield appeared almost scared to throw the ball but later suffered a partial labia majora, groin problems and other injuries.

However, the Browns know what their QB is capable of. Looks like he’s in the right mindset to come back this Sunday and dominate. That’s exactly what Cleveland needed.
