Baby got bloodied from glass when rock was thrown through window of Gold Coast house, mother says

A four-month-old Gold Coast baby nearly went blind when a rock thrown through a window landed inches from her head, her mother claims.

Concerned wife April Stanley told 7NEWS she woke up just before midnight on Monday to find her little girl Satuala screaming in pain and covered in broken glass.

“It was just all blood, dripping,” Stanley said.

“I couldn’t tell where it was coming from, blood came out every time she blinked.”

Paramedics took the little girl to Gold Coast University Hospital, where she was treated for lacerations to her forehead and eyes.

Satuala was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

The family have all slept in a back room since the incident, Stanley said.
