Authorities say Stephanie Beard murdered John Glennon

The brief search for a New England murder suspect suspected of stabbing her alleged victim in the head before stealing his car has ended.

“Mr. Glennon was found dead at approximately 8:00 a.m. on May 13, 2022,” authorities said. “It is believed that Mr. Glennon was killed in the early hours of that day.”
He was discovered at his home at 323 Franklin Street in the city of Manchester, authorities said in a statement To update. DR Mitchell Weinberg determined at an autopsy that Glennon died from multiple sharp force injuries and finally concluded that it was a case of homicide.
Beard was last seen in the Manchester area in Glennon’s silver Subaru Impreza, driving south on Route 293, the State Department said when they searched for her.
The authorities had wiped out a wanted letter for Beard on FridayShe said she stabbed Glennon in the head with a knife and then stole his car.
After Beard was described as a “white female, 5ft 2 tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes,” the wanted notice described several tattoos that may have made her more easily identifiable.
“She has the following tattoos: a Sonic the Hedge Hog character on her left hand; ‘Sonic’ Elijah on her left hand; a star on her left shoulder; a star on her chest; a heart on her chest; and a Tinkerbell figure on her back,” the statement said.
Authorities warned Friday that Beard “is considered dangerous and should not be approached.”
Officials obtained an arrest warrant for Beard on second-degree murder charges, and Boston police officers took her into custody Saturday, authorities said.
In addition to murder and theft charges, Beard was also charged with being on the run from justice in Massachusetts.
“[She] will be charged in Boston Municipal Court, South Boston Division on Monday, May 16, 2022,” the New Hampshire Department of Justice said.
Boston is an estimated one hour drive south of Manchester, New Hampshire. It wasn’t immediately clear why Beard was there.
Beard has battled homelessness and addiction in recent years, her mother told a local ABC affiliate WMUR.
“Stephanie was a very, very, very good person, except that she was involved in drugs.” Diana Bart called. “She went overboard and this is what happened. She was heavy on drugs, and that’s how she went insane.”
they also called that she was struggling with her feelings about the whole situation.
“I have too many mixed feelings,” Diane Beard said. “But I think part of me said, ‘She’s safe. She’s trapped.” But the bottom line is still – I hate to say this – she’s still my daughter.”
A neighbor described Glennon as “a very nice guy. He was silent.”
Authorities did not release any information about the motive or say if Glennon and Beard knew each other before the incident.
“As the case is open and our investigation is ongoing, what is in the publications is all we have at this time,” the New Hampshire Department of Justice spokesman said Michael Garrit said in response to a request from Law&Crime for more information.
