Australian homeowners are excited about the new robotic ceiling clothesline available through Amazon Australia

Australian homeowners are in a frenzy over a remote-controlled clothesline hanging from the ceiling that’s going viral on social media.

In a popular Facebook group, thousands have reacted to the release of the Foxydry ceiling clothesline and Electrica drying rack.

Available through Amazon Australia, the Genie purchase is a motorized clothesline that uses a remote control to move the racks from the ceiling and can be stopped at any height.

It is equipped with LED lighting lamps and fans to dry clothes faster, as well as extension poles to hold large items like sheets and blankets.

The clothesline also has 24 positions for holding clothes on hangers and can be installed anywhere in the home from your garage to the laundry to the bathroom.

It holds 35kg of laundry and is made from steel and aluminum to “ensure durability”.

Many homeowners were overwhelmed by the “revolutionary” clothesline.

“What dreams are made of,” said one on Cleaning & Organizing Inspiration Australia.

Another added: “What in the 30th century?”

Wrote another: “I’ve never wanted anything so bad.”

Although it cost a whopping $859.90, many were dying to get their hands on one.

“Definitely need one,” one replied.

Another said: “I want one.”

A third added: “We’ve got one – it’s groundbreaking!”
