August games from the PlayStation Plus catalog of games include Bugsnax and Dead by Daylight

Sony has announced the games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus catalog of games on August 16th for all Extra and Premium members. As previously announced, the headline additions are Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and yakuza kiwami 2, while Sony is working to add eight games from Sega’s Gangster series to its subscription service. (Yakuza: Like a dragon has already been made available to all subscribers.)
Joining the three Yakuza games will be a popular multiplayer horror game Dead by daylightmilitaristic Ubisoft co-op adventure Ghost Recon Wildlandsand charming creature collecting game Bugsnax.
The atmospheric first-person shooter from 4A Games Metro Exodus will also be added and is worth a look. Extra and Premium subscribers also get a chance to play the 2020 remake of 1995 Square RPG Trials of Manaand some board games: U.N, monopoly madnessand monopoly plus.
Sony’s overhaul of PlayStation Plus to better compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass is still a work in progress, but its games catalog is getting stronger by the month. In July, the cat phenomenon was added on the first day Straythat made it straight onto our list of the best games in the PlayStation Plus catalogue.
