Audi Australia is raising prices on most models

Audi Australia has started the new year with price increases across most of its range.

The price increases are effective January 1, 2023 and range from $200 to $2900 depending on the model and variants.

Affected models include A1, A3, S3, A4, S4, RS4, A5, S5, RS5, A6, S6, RS6, A7, S7, RS7, Q2, SQ2, Q5, SQ5, Q7 and SQ7.

While all of these Audi models received price increases in this particular price adjustment, one model was reduced in price instead. The e-tron GT is now $1500 cheaper, with the range now starting at $180,200 pre-road for the e-tron GT and going up to $248,200 pre-road for the RS e-tron GT.

We reached out to Audi Australia to confirm why it was raising prices. We’ll update this story as soon as we get feedback.

Audi’s latest price adjustment follows two near-range-wide price increases it implemented in 2022. The first was in February, with the brand citing rising material costs and ongoing supply issues.

The smallest price increases for this final round are for the S5 and S5 Sportback. Both received a $200 raise, meaning they both now start at $113,200 before road costs.

The vehicles with the largest price increase are the RS6 Avant and the RS7 Liftback with a price increase of $2900. They now start at $232,200, or $239,200 before road costs.

Numerous brands have recently increased prices citing inflation and increased shipping costs. BMW recently increased prices on most of its models, as did Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.

The updated prices for January 2023 for affected Audi models are as follows:
