Atlanta Hawks adds two more players to health and safety protocols, signs Lance Stephenson for 10 days

The Atlanta Hawks added two more players to the NBA’s health and safety protocols on Wednesday and signed Lance Stephenson amid the COVID-19 surge that has affected rosters around the league.
Lou Williams and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot has been added to the group’s protocol list, join Trae Young, Clint Capela and Danilo Gallinari, who was added earlier.
The Hawks moved to strengthen their squad by signing strikers Stephenson and Malcolm Hill 10 days contract.
Hawks will also sign with a free agent Wes Iwundu sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Iwundu, who played for Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans over five NBA seasons, will sign on Thursday in Philadelphia before Atlanta’s game against 76ers, sources said.
Stephenson played for Grand Rapids Gold, Denver Nuggets‘G League link. He is averaging 19.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 12 games.
A nine-year NBA veteran, Stephenson averaged 8.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 508 games, having played for a number of teams, including Indiana Pacers, who drafted him in the second round of the 2010 NBA draft.
Hill used to play for Birmingham Squadron, the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, and is averaging 16.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 12 games.
