Arnold Allen stops Dan Hooker in a wild first-round TKO

Arnold Allen stopped Dan Hooker in a wild first-round TKO.
It was an early fight with Allen outperforming the exchanges. There was a moment when the fight looked like it might be over, but Allen delivered a head-blow and the action stalled giving Hooker a chance to recover.
They returned to the center of the Octagon and the onslaught began again prompting the referee to step in and stop the fight in the first round.
“I know you said I had to wrestle, but I know how hard I hit,” Allen told Michael Bisping after his win.
Allen is looking to extend his big win streak and maintain his unbeaten streak in the UFC with a win over a big name Hooker.
Hooker, a fan favorite, is looking to recover from his loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 267.
Fans were worried about the performance of Hooker, who they believe had to cut hard to 145 pounds.
This is the first event to be held overseas outside of Fight Island since the pandemic began and comes nearly two years before the date that UFC London 2020 was canceled.
