Are pink uniforms coming back in 2022?

The Oregon soccer team gave us all a big clue as to when the pink uniforms might return.

While the Oregon football program stands for never wearing the same thing twice, the Nike school announced its game color plan for 2022, hinting at a possible return of the pink.

It’s been a minute since the Ducks were dressed in pink and had a down like that twice in their history. they wore pink helmets in the 2012 Washington State game and had pink numbers during the 2014 Arizona game. Oregon wearing pink obviously shows the athletic department’s support for October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Duck fans are urged to wear pink against UCLA on October 22…

Knowing that Oregon never chimes the clock in the uniform department makes this epic.

Oregon football program hints at return of pink uniforms for UCLA game

Imagine that. In a night game everyone can’t wait for, Dan Lanning, Puddles and the rest of the Oregon Ducks sprint out of Autzen Stadium’s tunnel, decked out in pink for all the world to see. Amid liquid sunshine, the ducks fly together, for it will be the return of the quack Pink uniforms, all right. Whatever the scoreboard says, UCLA has 10 more points to lose.

It’s not a question of if, but how much the Ducks will win the Chip Kelly Bowl. No visor will be safe as they’re constantly being poked into the turf like the head ball coach who is taking a game to the ‘Noles, Bro. in The Swamp. Oregon may have suffered a loss to Georgia earlier this season at the Chick-fil-A kickoff in Atlanta, but this will be the moment when the Pac-12 could make a comeback.

Not to say this will be a game that Pac-12 After Dark was made for, but it will be just as good as Oregon state players celebratory chainsaws after pick-sixes or watching Mike Leach’s cougs do it, how they somehow crush a 38-point lead a three-win team in Pullman. There’s no way Oregon is losing this one, as getting thrashed by Colorado might not be so bad if they literally looked like ducks.

Oregon fans now have two and a half months to incorporate pink into their game day attire.
