ArcheAge Unchained launches a NA and EU fresh start server on February 9th

Stop me if you heard this: ArcheAge preparing another restart server! OK, technically it is ArcheAge Unchained this time, and technically it’s two servers – one in the EU and one in NA – both coming on February 9th with, according to Kakao, specific adjustments to the format based on player feedback. And indeed, the overall look (and planned obsolescence) of this stack resembles a near-term level-catch-up shard rather than a clean-slate shard.

“The new server was designed to maintain elements previously lauded by the ArcheAge: Unchained player base, while providing additional nuances and improvements that users have been asking for to further simplify gear progression. Similar to the previous server restart, there will be basic boosting buffs to XP, as well as Conflict, War, Siege, Quest Honor Points, and Calling, ultimately allowing faster access to higher tier content. Changes coming with the upcoming server restart include an increased loot drop rate, which will increase from 200% to a whopping 300% to help players acquire higher tier gear faster. Unlike the previous server, which tailored its boosting specs to level Hiram gear, these buffs now apply to student gear as well. Similarly, the double weekly quest event will now be expanded to support the progression of Hiram and Disciple gear alike.”
