The Weld County Women’s Fund is now accepting applications for its 2022 grant cycle, the nonprofit announced Thursday.
Nonprofit organizations serving the needs of women and girls in Weld County are encouraged to submit an application for consideration. Grant amounts awarded range from $500 to $5,000 and applicants will be notified of their award by October 1.
The Weld County Women’s Fund awarded more than $48,000 in grants to local nonprofits, said Kelsey Vandemark, president of the Weld County Women’s Fund.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to improve the lives of women and girls in Weld County,” said Vandemark.
The organization has implemented an online application which can be accessed at. The link directs applicants to the Weld Community Foundation website where applications can be completed and submitted.
Application deadline is August 31st.
The Women’s Fund of Weld County is a not-for-profit fund administered by the Weld Community Foundation, established with the goal of creating an enduring fund to find, support, and sponsor programs that address the unmet needs of women and girls in Weld County.
The fund was established in 1999 by women from the community dedicated to improving the lives of local women and girls.
Grants from the fund help applicants become confident, independent, and contributory members of the community.
Since the fund’s inception, more than $425,000 has been awarded to organizations.
