Apex Legends’ Kings Canyon map is getting its biggest update yet

Great news for fans of battle royale games and huge monster skulls: Apex Legends reworks his iconic original map, Kings Canyon, to put his massive monster skull back in its rightful place.

in the Apex LegendsIn the new season “Hunted”, which starts next week, the new “Reforged” version of the Kings Canyon map will debut, which will bring a lot of changes. In addition to a number of redesigned areas designed to reduce the number of firefights between two parties being interrupted by a third, the map brings the map’s Skulltown region (destroyed in Season 5) back to life and reintroduces it as a Relic a, a more open version of the previously tightly enclosed zone.

Like many live service games, Apex Legends Maps often receive a number of tweaks and updates, but “Hunted” is offered by developer Respawn Entertainment as an opportunity to address a ton of community feedback about Kings Canyon. Hopefully it will feel good when the new season starts.

And like every previous new season, a new legend will join the fight. Players can purchase the sniper-focused hero Vantage when the new season launches. As a character whose gear is solely based on helping the team from afar, there’s a good chance she’ll shine in this remastered version of Kings Canyon.

The new Apex Legends Season “Hunted” starts on August 9th.
