The last picture left by former All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown NFL Fans with him ripped off his pads and shirts on the sidelines in New York and then ran out of the stadium, essentially ending the football in the middle of a game he took the field for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Since retiring from football, Brown has remained active on social media while pursuing a musical career and has performed at various festivals and venues over the past year. On Thursday, however, he decided to reflect on his regrets on social media, resulting in one of the wildest takes 2022 has seen yet (and likely will see in the future).

Brown experienced many of his unfortunate moments (for most people, at least) in the NFL, from his unceremonious departure from the Bucs-Jets game, to his ill-fated tenure with the Raiders and troubles there, to his legal troubles in Florida. But none of that is the former recipient’s biggest regret.

No, his biggest regret is not being able to see Antonio Brown play.

Antonio Brown says his biggest regret was not being able to see Antonio Brown play

Brown said in his statement that looking up the facts is not the same thing, comparing seeing him play as “watching like the Beatles or Jesus perform at Red Rocks.”

There is a long-standing pattern of erratic behavior from Brown, as transgressions reflect throughout his career. This has led many fans to question the state of his mental health. Actually the Bucs tried to get him advice regarding his mental health before his eventual release.

Takes like these are just another example. But still, it’s one hell of a statement for anyone, including Brown, to make.
