I think in that format and like I said, booked two flights in a row knowing I had a guaranteed playoff spot. It made the last one just a little cloudy. I’ve never been in that position and you know, I’ve learned from the mistakes.”
Pettis comes from a lost his last time against Ray. Now it’s on to the playoffs He’s confident he can win this time. Pettis stated that he has had three rematches in his career and has never lost a rematch. Although this is the first time he lost the first fight and then ran back.
In his last five fights, Stevie Ray has played a win-loss pattern. Pettis will look to continue that streak and give Ray another loss on Friday night. He’s on a mission to win the coveted end-of-season million dollars in what may be his final year with PFL.
