Anthony Davis goes out to fight Pacers with fever

NS Los Angeles Lakers there will be no Anthony Davis against the Indiana Pacers, as first reported by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel alluded to the news during his pre-match press conference when he said that Davis “will most likely be sidelined” with a fever.

Davis almost missed the game against the New York Knicks for flu-like symptoms. Davis said he woke up Tuesday with body aches, headaches and other symptoms unrelated to COVID-19.

However, Davis said his fever broke out shortly before kick-off, so he rushed to the arena to prepare to compete. That, unfortunately for LA, is not going to happen tonight.

LeBron James will start, even though he’s back from pausing a game.
