Anime Movies on Crunchyroll: Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Akira on the way

Crunchyroll will soon be the home of streaming Akira, Your Name, and a host of other anime movies coming to the streaming service later this month. The news was announced at this weekend’s Anime Expo. In addition, Crunchyroll also announced the acquisition of various anime titles.

On August 11th Josee the tiger and the fish by Studio Bones, The Stranger on the Shore by Studio Hibari and human lost by Polygon Pictures will be available on Crunchyroll. In the meantime, Akira and Your Name both will join the platform on August 18th wolf children, Hosada, The boy and the beastand Sing some harmony available the following week on August 25th. Other films will continue to debut on Crunchyroll each week through October, including The girl who jumped through time.

On September 21st, the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie – Jujutsu Kaisen 0 – will do a Crunchyroll premiere. The film hit theaters this summer and serves as a prequel to the popular series.
