Your lucky day plays on Christmas Eve and experiences a dispute over a lottery win in a small supermarket. However, things take a turn when victory turns into a deadly hostage situation. Angus Cloud was “absolutely perfect”
For Brown, the goal was “to make an exciting, funny and entertaining film” that could also explore deeper themes. As for working with Cloud, the writer-director feels “blessed” to have spent a short time with him. He shared, “For our conversations about the script, his stories about the time he rode along the coast on rails, those pitch-perfect improvisations he added to simple moments, his sense of humor. After the shoot, Angus told me something I’ve always wanted to say to him: “Congratulations bro, you did it.””
