Angels Minor League Daughter Accidentally Fires Fireworks At Crowd (Video)

The Rocket City Trash Pandas, an affiliate of the Angels minor league, had fireworks on Friday night that went horribly wrong.

Fireworks at baseball games, whether it’s Dodger Stadium, a minor league stadium, or your local little league facility, are pretty much a summer staple. You go to a game, see the post-game booms, and go home happier. Or at least that’s how it’s supposed to work.

On Friday night, the Rocket City Trash Pandas – the Double-A affiliate of the Angels from Los Angeles – set off fireworks after their game when one of them went wrong.

Specifically, the video shows that one of the firecrackers was shot straight at a hilltop where fans were sitting watching the show after the game.

Angels: Trash Pandas fireworks accidentally shot into the crowd

Thankfully, after the incident, the Trash Pandas said no one was hurt, which is fortunate given how bad it could have turned out (and it feels a little easier to joke about, too).

You’d think a team from “Rocket City” (which is another name for Madison, AL near Hunstville) could control and understand the fireworks a little better than what they showed on Friday night.

Again, it is overwhelmingly positive that no one was injured as a result of the accident. But maybe the Trash Pandas should take it easy with the fireworks shows for the rest of the season. Their track record suggests this might be the best thing for everyone’s safety. Angels Minor League Daughter Accidentally Fires Fireworks At Crowd (Video)
