Angel appoints Sam Selman to the mission

The angels have prescribed a reliever medicine Sam Selman to assign, tweet Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register. This move frees up space on the 40-donor list Raisel Iglesias, the four-year agreement has been officially implemented.
Selman arrived from the Giants this past summer’s trade deadline, part of a three-player package for Tony Watson. Southpaw made 17 rounds with a 6.35 ERA ball down stretch. His hit rate of 14.3% and his hit rate of 8.5% during that time were both far below average.
Over three seasons, the 31-year-old has scored 54 2/3 frames in 59 appearances. He has an ERA of 4.77 with hit and walk rates slightly below average (22% and 11.4% respectively). Selman, who owns a much better 3.23 ERA in parts of the Triple-A season’s five seasons, has only one minor league option left.
