Andrew Tate faces an uncertain future with a bail denial and pushes back the date of his release from prison

Controversial influencer Andrew Tate seems to be struggling to breathe. To his great despair, he is now forced to face the flip side of the coin in a rather harsh way. Most recently, the social media influencer’s latest bail request was denied.

This is the fifth time his bail application has been denied since his detention in December, thereby extending his sentence. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were taken into custody on multiple charges.

Her current term runs through March 29. Each of their sessions lasts 30 days. However, courts have the power to grant detention of up to 180 days if it is necessary to continue the investigation.

Why was Andrew Tate arrested?

The Tate brothers were arrested by Romanian police along with their two Romanian associates. They were detained on charges of investigating their involvement in organized crime, running prostitution rings, human trafficking and rape. They have not yet been formally charged.

A spokesman for the Tate brothers came out and explained the situation as a farce. They will continue to appeal the decision as they find the entire fiasco disappointing.

The “Top G” was and is one of the most talked about celebrities on the internet. The former kickboxer has amassed a huge fan base made up mostly of young men. The controversial social media star went into hiding in Romania until the police got their hands on him.

Romanian courts explain why Andrew Tate cannot be granted bail for the time being

Since then, Andrew Tate has appealed bail for a variety of reasons. He was reportedly hospitalized earlier because he speculated about cancer, which he later denied. However, Romanian broadcaster TVR has reported that Tate has requested bail due to illness. In that appeal, he claimed that imprisonment was deteriorating his health and therefore his life was at stake.

On the other hand, Romanian courts have repeatedly obstructed his claims for justice. The man who urged his male compatriots to break out of “the Matrix” claimed it was all part of a larger “political conspiracy” against him.

On the contrary, Romanian courts explained their reasons for not granting bail requests. They will not comply because the Tate brothers are threatening to evade the investigation. Furthermore, the court is unwilling to take the risk of them leaving and fleeing to countries that “do not allow extradition”.

A report released in January, consisting of multiple listening devices, suggested that Andrew had attempted to bribe and woo Romanian lawmakers; and continued to use intimidation tactics against a number of alleged victims.

As the reports come in, things only get worse for Andrew. On the other hand, his popularity and support among his followers have not waned as they raise their voices against his imprisonment.
