An Aldi Australia buyer is failing the internet after fake tan goes hilariously wrong

In order not to leave unwanted stains on the white sheets, she sat down on the floor with an Aldi plastic bag under her.
After waiting for the formula to develop on her skin, she got up, only to notice the store’s blue and yellow logo had migrated from the bag to her bottom.
“I thought it would be great to get a tan before we go to Bondi tomorrow,” Amy joked in a TikTok video.
“Because we’re in a hotel, most things are white… the bed is white, so I couldn’t sit down until it developed.”
“So I was sitting on the (floor) … on an Aldi bag.
“When I got up, (the bag) was stuck to my butt. I basically had Aldi stamped on my butt.
‘Definition of cheap a**’
“So now I have the Aldi logo on my fake tan on my butt.”
Amy saw the funny side of her predicament by suggesting she took the “definition of a cheap asshole” pretty literally.
Despite the fake tan’s failure, she later shared an update confirming that she was able to wash the logo off her body.
Her video has been viewed more than 50,000 times – and many have thanked her for making their day.
‘this is gold’
“Aldi Special Buys has a new meaning haha this is so funny,” said one woman.
Another wrote: “Oh my god – that’s gold.”
One admitted: “Sounds like something I would do.”
While another added: “This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in ages.”
Meanwhile, some suggested a simple solution to avoid the same error.
“At least next time you know to turn the bag inside out,” wrote one.
While another suggested: “Maybe next time turn the bag inside out mate. I hope you managed to get rid of it!”
How a Gen Z tech’s tiny mistake during a Zoom meeting got her fired.
