Amtrak Cancel Boston-New York Saturday Due to Winter Storm – CBS Boston
BOSTON (CBS) – Facts Winter storm is coming are shaking up East Coast travel plans this weekend. Amtrak announced major flight cancellations affecting Boston and the northeast on Saturday.
There will be no Northeast Area Service between Boston and New York on Saturday. The Acela service between Washington, DC and Boston was also canceled.

In addition, Springfield Shuttle service between New Haven, Conn. And Greenfield is cancelled.
Those heading north can still get a train, as limited Downeaster service will operate between Boston and Brunswick, Maine.
