Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is closing in on Commanders’ ownership after hiring Allen & Company to help him buy the NFL franchise

The Washington Commanders are up for sale and it’s been quite a while since Daniel Snyder has excited about moving away from his NFL franchise. Buying an NFL team is no joke — teams are typically worth billions, and even to support a football team, the owners must have the “big bucks” in their pockets or they could be broke after a season.

So it becomes difficult for Daniel to sell the commanders. However, there is good news for the owner of the Commander! There is a popular billionaire who wants to buy the Washington team. The man is so rich and iconic that the whole world knows him!

He is none other than Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and enlists the help of an investment firm in his plan to buy the NFL team.

Who is helping Jeff Bezos buy the Washington Commanders?

The investment firm is very popular and has previously helped other owners buy and sell teams. Allen & Company is the company’s name, and in previous years it was primarily involved in David Tepper’s $2.275 billion payment for the Panthers. On the other hand, when the Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group bought the Broncos team for a whopping $4.65 billion.

Now that a contender like Bezos has joined the race to buy the Washington team, they could do the trick for the Amazon owner in buying the prestigious Commanders franchise. Nothing is certain at the moment, however, and even Snyder could change his mind, as we’ve seen with other owners and their teams in years past.

However, if Bazos becomes the owner of the Washington team, the team along with its new owner could make drastic changes to improve the commanders’ skill level.
