Alleged drug dealer Tenderloin arrested; Fentanyl, Meth, Cocaine, Heroin Seized – CBS San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – The continued crackdown on San Francisco’s troubled Oakland into Tenderloin County drug pipeline has resulted in the arrest of two major East Bay drug traffickers and the seizure of one large amount of drugs.

San Francisco police posted on social media Friday that drug detectives served a search warrant for an Oakland home. As a result, two alleged agents were arrested and placed in the Alameda County Jail.

During the raid, 1/2 kilo fentanyl, 471 gg meth, 54 g cocaine and 268 gg heroin and two weapons were seized.

In December, San Francisco Mayor London Breed declared a local state of emergency for Tenderloin, and the measure was passed by an 8-2 vote by the Board of Supervisors.

This statement is an enhancement of the emergency intervention measure.

Fentanyl overdoses and deaths have reached alarming levels in the city. Much of the drug trade can be traced back to Tenderloin and a supply pipeline to the street dealers roaming the county from outside the city.
