The Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will go head to head in Week 3’s rematch, when the Rams beat the Buccaneers, 34-24. Both teams are putting on outstanding performances, which set up a great game in Florida.
The BetSided team has you covered with a Full preview of the game. But for now, let’s take a look at the best value players to score goals.
Orange Akers +100
Cam Akers is likely to have the most remarkable comeback ever. He returned from a pre-season Achilles injury and took 95 yards in a playoff. Now, he’ll have to do it again against one of the best hasty defenses in the league.
However, I like Akers’ value. The fact that he can be used in the running game and in the passing game is a big plus. For the same amount of money, Akers is a good choice for handling touches that aren’t explosive plays.
Odell Beckham Jr. +120
Beckham Jr has scored in six of the nine games he has played for the Rams, including his first touchdown in last week’s game. Given the level of production he offers and plus the odds, he’s easily the best player on the Rams this week.
Los Angeles’ passing attack surrounds Cooper Kupp, which allows OBJ to be the dominant #2 receiver. Kupp was targeted 12 times in his first meeting, which means Beckham won’t be the center of attention.
OBJ has scored a lot of touchdowns, and Tampa Bay’s high school team will have a test this week.
Leonard Fournette -167
Fournette’s addition to the Bucs offense is a huge deal. Tampa Bay now has a strong, athletic return to finishing on target – even in passing games. Fournette had scored in three of his last four games before the injury. Tampa clearly sees him as a player that needs to be involved. If Jalen Ramsey and the Rams defense can keep Rob Gronkowski and Mike Evans under control, let’s hope Fournette has a chance to beat.
