All new POIs and locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Chrome substance has come to Fortnite out of the blue in Chapter 3 Season 4, and there are a number of changes to the Battle Royale map as a result. For example, the final season brings a brand new point of interest to a previously empty part of the island. There are now some locations that have been redesigned and renamed. Here is every new POI and location in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 listed in alphabetical order.

Cloudy Condos

To avoid being touched by Chrome, the place once known as Condo Canyon is now suspended from the sky by a hot air balloon. Although the layout hasn’t changed massively, the POI is now called Cloudy Condos.

Fort Jonesy

The Joneses is another POI that has been slightly modified. In addition to being renamed Fort Jonesy, the site currently has several new buildings with bridges and zip lines connecting between them.

Sanctuary of the Herald

The most notable difference players will notice is the introduction of Herald’s Sanctum. It’s shaped like a castle made entirely of chrome, and this liquid even extends to the beaches west of the now desolate sanctuary.

Shining Lagoon

A change that any player can notice from afar is the transition from Lazy Lagoon to Lustrous Lagoon. Similar to Cloudy Condos, the location’s ship is also being held up by hot air balloons while the trees below have been damaged by Chrome.

To reflect the change of season, the lower left region of the island is now resplendent with red-leaved trees and grassy fields, all faded to a bright orange. This has also changed the reality tree as its branches are fully exposed.

Shimmering Shrine

There is no recurring POI influenced by Chrome like Shuffled Shrines. Now known as the Shimmering Shrine, almost the entire area sparkles with the substance. This includes its greenery and some of its structures.

Locations aside, the season even brings many new and non-vaulted weapons to the Battle Royale modes. Weapons like the Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper and Lever Action Shotgun have returned as Chrome Splash and EvoChrome weapons were added to the loot pool for the first time.
