Gem crafting is used to create powerful gems that grant various stat buffs and passive perks to your characters. Each gem can be upgraded ten times, and the cost of each new gem tier is significantly higher than the last. All gems and effects in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Gems fall into one of four different categories. These categories are color-coded to correspond to Attacker, Defender, and Healer roles. The Gold Gems and Universal Gems. Unlike previous Xenoblade games, crafting any gem once allows everyone in your party to equip it at the same time.
