Alicia Keys is grabbed and kissed by a fan during a concert, the singer and the fans react

Alicia Keys is on tour to promote her eighth studio album, Keys II. And she gets a front row seat to how much fans love her through COVID-19 and monkeypox. A viral video of their latest global tour top at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena has left fans shocked and confused.

During the show, Keys left the stage to greet fans in the audience with security at her side, singing her 2010 hit “No One.” As she grabbed fans’ hands and waved to others, a woman grabbed the Grammy winner’s face and kissed her on the cheek. The mother-of-two looked visibly stunned by the intimate act but continued to perform and greet fans.

Keys immediately got wind of the footage on Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram page, where she went on to explain what was on her mind in the comments. She said, “Trust me I was like what the F-CK!!!! Doesn’t she know what time it is???”

Others in the comments section had something to add to Key’s remarks. Some suggested suing the fan, and many advised her to hire new security guards.

“Oh damn naw…too much around for this level of closeness.”

“Covid, monkeypox. Duh, she’s done too much.”

Fans on Twitter shared the same sentiment, wondering why anyone would do such a thing. In addition to re-sharing the footage, one tweeted, “GET ALICIA KEYS OUT THERE NOW!!!”

Another wrote: “Waaaayyyyyyyyy we should have stopped this performance so I could go downtown with this woman?!? I’m sorry, the security wasn’t secure enough for me. I wish they grabbed that lady’s head to get rid of Alicia.”

One person shared a meme of the “ANTI” singer, saying, “Alicia should have miced her like Rihanna did.”

A fourth person responded with the full video of Rihanna during a tour stop in Birmingham, England in 2013. It shows the Grammy-winning singer walking past fans in the audience while singing her 2011 hit “We Found Love.” She touched a few fans’ hands, but one held on too long, prompting the singer to hit the person with her microphone.
