UFC is making its international debut this weekend!
UFC Fight Night 204: Volkov vs. Aspinall features a battle between heavyweight boxer Alexander Volkov and upstart rival To Aspinall. There are plenty of other exciting matches on the card including fan favorite Dan Hooker’s move to featherweight to face Arnold Allen 17-1.
There are 12 matches on the card, so find some of the best bets! Here are a few words WynnBET Sportsbook:
Column records: 12-9 (+5.46 units)
This is Aspinall’s upcoming party in front of his home city of London, England with a veteran in Volkov. But can he take care of the business?
I think this price is fair enough to support him, as Volkov is a one-way boxer, a boxer by trade. However, Aspinall could be suspended with Vokov on his feet due to the two standing quite similar. The British-born boxer was two inches shorter and two inches shorter in reach, but had a more aggressive style, forcing the Russians to fight back with their hind legs.
While this is certainly a step up in class for Aspinall, he has shown a capable grappling game so far, averaging more than 2 knocks per 15 minutes during his UFC career. yes, according to UFCStats.com.
I don’t know if Aspinall is cardiovascular ready to go 25 minutes with Volkov but I believe this price is undermining his early prowess and ability to hold pressure. I will bet small with this bet and will probably bet live after we meet Aspinall outside of the first two innings, but I would love to support him in front of his home crowd.
PICK: Aspinall -130 0.5 units
Hooker is losing weight to take on upstart Allen, but I’ll give the edge to the veteran who has a 4-inch height advantage and a 5-inch reach advantage.
Yes, Allen will be hunting for kills, but Hooker has demonstrated a grappling ability in the past, hitting a defense rate of 78% on kills and almost once in 15 minutes.
Hooker will likely be significantly larger by the time the fight begins. This is a huge step up in class for Allen and I think Hooker spoke on point 145.
PICK: Hooker +100
This is an automatic bet for me. Craig’s submissive skills are unbelievable for a light heavyweight, he has managed 12 of 15 side wins in his 20+ fights.
Krylov himself is a great puncher, but he is too comfortable in the back, resulting in a 55% save. This fight will find ground at some point and I will trust Craig to finish it.
PICK: Craig +160
