ALDI Australia Supermarket shoppers are wild about new cheese purchases

ALDI fans are raving about a new cheese product in the Australian supermarket – but you have to be quick.

A shopper posted a picture of the limited-edition Emporium Selection cheese to the popular Aldi Fans Australia Facebook group.

But it’s not just regular cheddar cheese slices — they’re flavored with caramelized onions.

“Run… I repeat… Run, don’t walk. This is amazing,” she captioned the post.

ALDI colleagues and cheese lovers were equally crazy about the find.

“That sounds really good,” wrote one person.

“Oh that’s just naughty,” said another,

“Omg imagine the toastie,” said one.

Those who have already tasted the cheese cannot recommend it highly enough.

“Very tasty, bought two packs today,” confirmed one.

“Bought yesterday…delicious!” said another.

The post’s author said that it cost her around $4.69 for a pack of 6 discs, which some thought was a bit pricey.

“Not cheap,” wrote one person.

“Very expensive for six discs,” commented another.

ALDI Pad Thai

Fans have taken to social media in recent days, raving about the $14.99 Pad Thai kits, which can be found in the fresh food sections of most ALDI stores.

“We tried the Chicken Pad Thai menu tonight and I have to say it was amazing,” said a fan on Aldi Mums’ Facebook page.

“The ingredients were so fresh and it was so easy to make. Tasted so good.

“I cook pretty much everything myself because I really enjoy cooking and find it very budget-friendly. But that was $15 and filled me (pregnant) and my partner (hungry) and we have enough left for me for lunch tomorrow.

“Really impressed.”

People were quick to share their rave reviews about the ALDI purchase.

“It was tasty, a bit spicy for people who aren’t great with heat. My neighbors enjoyed my leftovers,” said one.

Another added: “Wow looks so delicious. $15 is very good, especially if you have enough for lunch the next day.”

A third wrote: “These are amazing, love the alfredo chicken kit too – so easy to make.”
