The band is getting back together. With the news that Albert Pujols has signed a new contract with St. Louis Cardinals, it marks the incredible return of the slugger. Pujols is a fan favorite in St. Louis and everyone can’t wait to see him and Yadier Molina play together again.
Both of these boys are going to Cooperstown on their way, but wouldn’t it be sweet if they entered the Hall of Fame together? That’s exactly what could happen if both decide to call it careers at the end of the season.

It was widely expected that this would be the last campaign for both Pujols and Molina. Pujols is 42 years old and Molina is 39 years old. Although the thought of these two playing forever for St.
Molina barely returned to the team this season, but the front office was able to get the job done. Now, the upcoming campaign gets even sweeter as the Pujols return to the mix after a 10+ year absence. The two have discussed retirement together before, and now it looks like things could work out for them the way they had planned.
Before they both retire, both Pujols and Molina will be ready to bring in the St. Louis much more fun this season. With the stacking of St. Louis is a shrewd talent, the Cards can continue a run after a deep season. It will be very special to watch, especially for a few legends like Pujols and Molina.
