Arch Manning is one of the hottest college football recruits in recent memory, but one Alabama football fan doesn’t want him on the Crimson Tide.

Once in a Blue Moon there’s a college football recruit who captures the attention of every fanbase in America, especially the high-level programs that are more often than not all vying to land the young player. Given Arch Manning’s family lineage, then, it’s no surprise that Peyton and Eli’s nephew falls into this category for 2023.

Depending on the week, you might hear that Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, or a few others are strong in the mix for him. But in the case of Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide, at least one fan of the show doesn’t want Manning to go to Tuscaloosa.

And you guessed it – it’s for an extremely stupid and nonsensical reason that could only be found on a message board.

The fan in question would prefer Manning not to have signed with Bama because of the “foo-foo drama” that comes with family, saying it could negatively impact the locker room chemistry and program before he did the “intangibles.” Values” of the young quarterback in question. :

There are two ways you can look at this. Door No. 1 has the option of that fan believing that the Crimson Tide won’t be able to land Arch Manning and doing their best to justify that it’s a good thing for the team.

Behind door #2, we have a chance that this fan has turned into a pretzel to the point where it doesn’t make sense anymore. Naturally They want Arch Manning. Naturally They take any “drama” that might come with it. he is so good
