Air Force Predictions and Odds vs. Wyoming for the First Round of the Mountain West Tournament

The Mountain West Conference Tournament going to be one of the best in all of college basketball, as a handful of teams have what it takes to win the convention title.

Wednesday will give us a game against one of those teams, the Utah State Aggies, joining the Air Force in the first round.

Let’s go in odds via WynnBET for this first match:

BetSided’s Reed Wallach thinks Wyoming is a solid black horse to win in Mountain West, and I think they have an easy way to build momentum against the Air Force in this game.

According to KenPom, the Air Force ranks second in the Mountain West in both offensive and defensive efficiency, while Wyoming is fifth in offense and fourth in defense.

I actually think Mountain West is open to about six teams taking part in the run, but the Air Force isn’t one of them.

KenPom predicts this is a 13-point win for Wyoming, but I think the Aggies can cover this spread. The Air Force defended three-man tackles well, but it wasn’t the Aggies’ bread and butter, as they were the best two-pointer team in the conference with 57.2 percent.

Lean: Wyoming -14 (-110)
