AGT 2022: A brand new era of Australia’s Got Talent sees stunning acts on the world’s biggest stage

A brand new era of AGT (Australia’s Got Talent) begins with all-star judging, incredible must-see acts and a world-first twist.

Airing Sunday 9th October at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7plus, the new season of AGT will be like no other.

Viewers can marvel at the most spectacular acts from around the world alongside judges David Walliams, Kate Ritchie, Alesha Dixon and Shane Jacobsen.

Multi-platinum artist Ricki-Lee returns as host, taking the acts backstage as a new wave of stunning and stunning talent take to the AGT stage.

AGT is the world’s largest entertainment format, delivering breathtaking performances that have to be seen to be believed.

What to Expect

Think fire breathers, epic dance troupes, stand up comedians, circus acts, sword swallowers, aerial acts, animal acts, magicians and just about everything in between.

“You’d think you’d seen it all before, but not like this,” said Kate Ritchie.

“Australia will be blown away.”

“The most fulfilling thing about being a judge at AGT is feeling a bit like a fairy godmother,” added David Walliams.

“It’s like waving a magic wand and saying to someone, ‘Cinderella, you’re going to the ball,’ because together with the other judges and the audience, you have the power to bring someone to the attention of the world.”

AGT’s world-first twist pits Australian acts against some of the world’s top Got Talent artists to secure their place in the Grand Final, where Australia will decide who deserves AGT’s $100,000 top prize.

AGT airs Sunday 9th October at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
