AFL Finals teams: Melbourne avoid gastro chaos as Geelong make tough decisions and Bulldogs make key changes

Little Premier Geelong has made three changes for Saturday’s AFL Qualifying Finals against Collingwood, with Jeremy Cameron, Mitch Duncan and Rhys Stanley back in the team.

But it comes with mainstays Mark O’Connor and Brandan Parfitt dropped alongside Jon Ceglar and Esava Ratugolea.

On the other side of the field, Taylor Adams has returned for Collingwood as promised after missing all of August with a groin injury.

Elsewhere, Melbourne have avoided gastro chaos after senior coach Simon Goodwin was isolated from training and Michael Hibberd experienced symptoms.

Meanwhile, the Western Bulldogs – already without the injured Tom Liberatore – will not have Taylor Duryea (birth of his first child) for Saturday night’s knockout final against Fremantle.

Jason Johannisen and Toby McLean, back in his second game from a cruciate ligament injury, have been called up to replace Liberatore and Duryea, while Josh Bruce has also made way for Alex Keath.

Bruce’s ax means young gunman Sam Darcy is likely to move to the front line.

Dockers have also caused a shock, calling up young forward Jye Amiss for his second game.

He hasn’t played since Round 8 and has been struggling with a serious kidney injury in the meantime, but the 19-year-old will play up front with powerhouse forward Matt Taberner in the elimination final to play against the WAFL as he makes his return of a calf creates discomfort.

Amiss scored twice on his debut and needs to provide some punching power, although he will be supported by Rory Lobb, who is back from injury.

Dockers recalled Griffin Logue while dropping Lloyd Meek and Bailey Banfield.
