AFC North Week 11 recap: Steelers only team to lose

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only AFC North team not to win Week 11 and now they will enter Week 12 for the second time to finish last in the division. Three other AFC North teams, the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, all won Week 11.

The Ravens beat the Chicago Bears 16-13 on Sunday and missed quarterback Lamar Jackson when he missed the game due to illness.

With Jackson sidelined on Sunday, Ravens backup midfielder Tyler Huntley completed 26 of 36 attempts at 219 yards without a touchdown pass and one interception. Huntley also dived 40 yards as he dived into his team’s victory with a total of seven attempts.

Ravens tight finish Mark Andrews led the team against the Bears as he caught eight passes in 73 yards. Rerun Devonta Freeman led the Ravens on Sunday with 49 yards and touched a total of 16 executions.

Kicker Justin Tucker hit three goals in the win and midfielder Patrick Queen led the Ravens defense in total tackles on Sunday with seven. Outfielder Tyus Bowser had to pick up three sacks scored by the Ravens defense on Sunday and he was also forced to once floundered having been recovered by defender Calais Campbell.

Team Raven had to drive 72 yards with less than two minutes left in the fourth inning to win the game. They did so for five innings and in 1:11.

The Cleveland Browns also won Sunday when they beat the Detroit Lions 13-10 at home.

In the game against the Lions, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 15 of 29 pass attempts for 176 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. His only touchdown pass in the game pared back Nick Chubb late in the first half. Chubb finished the match with a dash of more than 130 meters in 22 attempts. He also caught two 14-meter passes in the win.

Browns tight finish Austin Hooper led the receiving team on Sunday with his four receptions for 53 yards. Wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who had four catches in the game for 26 yards, scored the Browns’ first touchdown of the game on the 16-yard run.

Winger Anthony Walker Jr led the Browns in total tackles on Sunday with eight. The Browns’ defense also registered two interceptions on Sunday. The Lions’ attack just got past 77 yards on Sunday against the Browns’ defense.

The Bengals also won Sunday by beating the Las Vegas Raiders 32-13 on the road.

Bengals defender Joe Burrow completed 20 of 29 pass attempts on Sunday for 148 yards with one touchdown and no interception. His only touchdown pass went to rookie Ja’Marr Chase in the fourth half.

Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd led the receiving team on Sunday with six receptions for 49 yards. Rerun Joe Mixon had a great game against the Raiders defense as he registered 123 yards and two touchdowns on a total of 30 attempts. Kicker Evan McPherson made four goals for the Bengals on Sunday.

Defensive for the Bengals on Sunday, safe Vonn Bell led the team in total tackles with six. The Bengals’ defense registered two sacks in the game along with one interception and one forced, which the unit was able to recover from.

In AFC North Week 12 action, the 6-4 Bengals will host the 5-4-1 Steelers next Sunday afternoon. The Bengals previously beat the Steelers at Heinz Field on Week 3.
