AEW star, WWE legend Jeff Hardy arrested for assault

AEW star Jeff Hardy was killed on Monday just days before he appeared on the March 15 episode of Dynamite.

Jeff Hardy is one of the most popular stars in wrestling when he steps into the ring. His fights outside the ring are well documented. Unfortunately, there was one other incident involving the former WWE Legend and current All Elite Wrestling star.

On Monday, Hardy was charged in Volusia County, FL with driving under the influence, violating the restrictions on his driver’s license and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license. This is Hardy’s third DUI offense in 10 years. per online records.

Hardy is being held on $3,500 bail and is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. ET Tuesday.

This is another recent arrest for Hardy. In March 2018, Hardy was arrested for drunk driving after a car accident and in October 2019 on DWI charges. He was also arrested in July 2019 for public intoxication.

Hardy joined AEW last March after he was released by WWE last December after an incident at a house show in which he jumped the barricade and walked in the middle of a matchstick.

Hardy was scheduled to compete in a ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the June 15 episode of Dynamite. He and his brother Matt competed against the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and champions Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus). The status of this game is unknown at this time.
