AEW star returns to Japan

Go back a bit. AEW has one of the most impressive rosters in recent memory, and a lot of that is down to how diverse things really are. There are some incredibly talented wrestlers on the roster and it makes for some pretty awesome shows. However, there wasn’t always room for everyone and now one of them is leaving, at least for a short while, to do another gig.

Hikaru Shida has announced that she will be returning to Japan to appear on the show Makai Genesis ReBoot on February 4 at Kameari Ririo Hall. There’s nothing to suggest that this will be just a single match, and Shida is not expected to miss the stretch from AEW. Shida is a former AEW Women’s Champion and has been feuding with Serena Deeb in recent weeks.
