Adrian Peterson has a hilarious free version of Najee Harris

Adrian Peterson is a fan of Najee Harris, but the NFL rushing legend had an odd way of complimenting the Steelers as a sophomore running back.

Najee Harris thrived in his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially when you consider the factors that worked against him. He played behind an underperforming offensive line with a quarterback who was well past his prime in Ben Roethlisberger and still put up a 1,200-yard rushing season and posed a massive threat from the backfield.

With a revamped quarterback room, Harris will be the focal point of the Steelers offense for the 2022 season, and many are expecting great things from the 2021 Alabama first-round pick.

NFL legend Adrian Peterson is included it seems. However, he had a hilarious way of complimenting the rising young star in Pittsburgh.

Speaking of Harris, Peterson said he couldn’t help but be impressed to look at him, but expressed it by saying, “I think, ‘Golly, that kid is fat … and those big quads.”

Peterson knows a thing or two about successful NFL running backs with big thighs as a multiple-C thicc-boi in his own right. But even he has to wonder at the thickness of Harris, who stands at the same 6-foot-1 as All Day did in his prime but is about 20 pounds heavier.

Though expressed in an unconventional way, it’s easy to see where Peterson came from. Najee Harris seems to be one of the next superstars to take this position and it’s hard not to be impressed when you see him at work.

If only the Steelers put him in the best position to succeed…
