The latest COVID-19 outbreak in WWE began last week and continues as it affects Sunday home shows featuring top stars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Big E, Becky Lynch, etc. are being pulled.
On-screen authority and WWE Producer Adam Pearce took to Twitter to give a brief statement about how the company is moving forward in response to the outbreak:
“Just a brief thank you: As COVID continues to be a struggle, I would like to publicly thank our staff, crew, and the incredible Superstars who gave it all to do whatever is necessary to ensure the program continues. It is an honor to work with you.”
As previously reported, WWE will make changes to the script for Raw tonight, and half of the usual Producers were at the show.
Just a quick note of gratitude:
As COVID continues to be a struggle, I want to publicly thank our staff, crew, and incredible Superstars, who have gone to great lengths to do whatever it takes to ensure ensure the program continues.
It’s an honor to work with you. 🙏
