“Absolutely ridiculous,” Jacksonville Jaguars’ Travon Walker waved after making eye contact with the Raiders quarterback during his NFL debut » FirstSportz

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ Travon Walker made an immediate impact on the big stage when he played his first game on the NFL stage against the Las Vegas Raiders in a preseason game. Although the Jaguars finished second best thanks to a 27-11 loss, Travon Walker got his first career sack on the second occasion against Jarett Stidham.
However, the talking point of Travon Walker’s debut match wasn’t the sack he made against Stidham, but even more the sack he didn’t make. The 21-year-old linebacker charged at Raiders left tackle Brandon Parker and caught quarterback Jarrett Stidham as he released the ball.

Travon Walker recorded his first career NFL sack in his debut game against the Raiders
The game was immediately flagged by the referee as Walker was found guilty of beating up the passer, a call that drew criticism from many on social media. However, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson believes all of this will help Walker gain experience during his rookie season in the NFL.
Travon Walker wasn’t too disappointed at the missed opportunity either, as he reflected on the positive result of the game, which came courtesy of his first NFL career layoff, which the youngster hopes will be the first of many for him in his career will be.
“It was definitely an exciting feeling.” Walker said. “It was my first [sack] but, like, a lot more to come. It was definitely exciting just being out there on an NFL roster, out there on an NFL team playing with other NFL players. Something I will always remember [will be] my first snapshot”, Walker said as reported by ESPN.
