Aaron Rodgers reveals Packers could be cheating fans

Aaron Rodgers has been a polarizing figure within the Green Bay Packers, but his latest comments could make his loyal fans seethe.

If you were to ask Green Bay Packers fans how they felt about Aaron Rodgers, most would praise him for his success. Now, after his recent comments, there might be a change of heart.

NFL reporter Dov Kleimann reported Monday that Rodgers revealed some interesting information about the Green Bay organization on Pardon My Take, saying, “Packer’s stock has no actual value.”

NBC Sports and Pro Football Talks Mike Florio agreed with Rodgers, quoting, “The stock has no value. At all. It’s just a piece of paper.”

Remember that Green Bay is the only NFL team that doesn’t have a single owner but rather a community. Needless to say, Rodgers’ comments didn’t sit well with some Packers fans, and social media had a lot to say about Rodgers’ beliefs.

Aaron Rodgers said Green Bay Packers stock has no value

The reality of the situation is, regardless of what Aaron Rodgers has said, he understands that the Green Bay Packer fans he’s talking about are essentially the same ones that have known him since the day he finished 24th overall in 2005 was drafted, have supported. They’re the only fanbase he’s ever played for.

Even if he’s right, why does he have to be criminalized for it? It’s well documented that Aaron is outspoken. He speaks his mind and can be manipulative at times; see the vaccination incident, but Green Bay has been dealing with this for over a decade.

If Green Bay ends up winning the Super Bowl and he’s the reason why, ie the Super Bowl MVP, maybe that can all be brushed aside. However, there’s an old saying that an elephant never forgets, which makes for a great memory, and Green Bay fans won’t forget those words. You could play them in their circles now as they talk about their star quarterback and expectations for the upcoming season.
