Aaron Rodgers drops a bombshell on The Pat McAfee Show as he confirms his intention to play for Jets next season

The Jets are keen to take on Aaron Rodgers; In contrast, the Packers are trying to negotiate the highest trade price with the Jets in exchange for Rodgers for Jordan Love. On Wednesday, this future Hall of Famer quarterback publicly announced his decision to sign with a new franchise.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, the former MVP clarified that he wasn’t there to explain his future, but rather to provide an update on his situation within the first few minutes of his introduction. In his opening remarks, Rodgers said he did not intend to stop playing immediately; Instead, New York is now his preferred landing spot.

“As of Friday, I made it clear that I want to play and I want to play for the New York Jets,” Rodgers clarified.

This quarterback insisted on speaking out about the person the Packers Rodgers want to trade for. Just before praising Jordan Love, he said he was a “fucking amazing kid” and predicted his success in the NFL.

Recently, Rodgers left something vague in a tweet, leading followers to believe he expressed a desire to either leave Green Bay or join the Jets. With his statement, the Hall of Fame member has now made everything clear.

ESPN alleges several Jets employees, including team owner Woody Johnson, general manager Joe Douglas, head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, came to California last week to meet with Rodgers and plead their case in person.
