A young woman finds herself on a dark path of obsession in the trailer for POSER – GeekTyrant

Oscilloscope Laboratories has released the trailer for a moody looking film entitled posers, which follows a young podcaster who wants to get involved in the underground music scene of Columbus, Ohio. The film was directed Ori Segev and Noah Dixon and it looks interesting how this young woman ends up down a dark path.

The synopsis reads: “Wallflower Lennon Gates (Sylvie Mix) yearns for access to the sanctum of the underground music scene in Columbus, Ohio. As she creates a podcast to interview the local artists she adores, Lennon discovers her own musical ambitions, quickly forging a friendship with the impressive, confident artist Bobbi Kitten, and in the process forging an identity that’s not quite her own. Soon, Lennon’s quest, with some constructive coaxing from Bobbi to find her voice, leads her down a path of dark obsession.”

posers opens June 3rd in Columbus and June 17th in NY and LA.
