A World Champion Driver Ratings & Dissects 10 Movie & TV Car Chases – GeekTyrant

If you like watching awesome car chases in movies like me then I have a video for you worth watching. Brought to you by Insider, it features three-time Global Rallycross Champion and record-breaking stunt driver Tanner Foust rating 10 movie chases.

Foust breaks down the realism of racing on different surfaces no time to die (2021), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and die Another Day (2002), starring Pierce Brosnan. He also looks at the accuracy of auto stunt techniques in carrier 3 (2008), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) starring Tom Cruise. He looks at whether scenes are real or staged with the help of CGI Free guy (2021), Smokey and the Bandit (1977) and police history (1985) starring Jackie Chan. He also breaks down his own drifting techniques The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).

Foust has been a race car and stunt driver for over 25 years. He is a three-time US Rallycross Champion, four-time X Games Gold Medalist and two-time Formula Drift Champion. He also holds several world records, including the longest jump in a four-wheel drive vehicle, which was 332 feet. He also co-hosted the American version of the motor television series Top Gear.
