Roger Federer, the Swiss legend and former world No. 1, is one of the greatest players in the world. He recently appeared on Center Court at the All England Club, not to play but as part of the celebrations of Center Court’s 100th anniversary. The 8-time Wimbledon champion expressed his desire to come back once more, to play at SW19, which shattered rumors surrounding his retirement announcement. Everyone is eagerly awaiting his comeback and hopefully we’ll see Federer at it Laver Cup in a top-class Team Europe.
Rafael Nadal, the record holder for most singles Grand Slam titles in the men’s category in the Open era, is another all-time greatest player. He won two Grand Slams titles this year and was on the verge of adding another Grand Slam title, but before that had to announce his withdrawal from the semifinals Wimbledon 2022 because of his abdominal injury. He fought for a calendar grand slam.

Roger Federer’s suite is a main attraction of the Rafael Nadal Academy
Aside from being arch-rivals in the sport, they both share a good camaraderie between them and are often seen applauding each other for their off-court accomplishments. Rafael Nadal did the inevitable when he gave the name to one of the two largest suites in the state-of-the-art academy Rafael Nadal Academy on behalf of his good friend Roger Federer.
The Rafael Nadal Academy recently shared a video giving people around the world a tour of the luxurious “Roger Federer Suite” which is a main attraction at the tennis academy. It is available to guests participating in the Academy’s various tennis programs who wish to stay in this suite. When people saw the video, they couldn’t contain their excitement and it became a place to visit especially for Federer fans.
In the video you can see that it is a luxury suite where, in addition to the main amenities, there is a terrace overlooking the “Centre Court”, a king-size bed and access to an indoor pool. On the walls of the room is an enlarged poster of Federer himself with one of his motivational quotes next to it.
Along with the Roger Federer suite, the other luxury suite is named after its founder, Spanish maestro Rafael Nadal. This action earned the Spaniard a lot of respect as he did something very rare as they were great rivals in their day.
