The vehicle collects driving data such as vehicle speed, steering angle and pedal input during a race lap.

Once captured, they are forwarded to a server and then analyzed to determine assisted driving instructions, which can indicate changes in speed, acceleration and braking, and vertices on a route.

According to the patent, the system can be used by several vehicles at the same time.

The feature provides the ability to show other drivers track times, a leaderboard, and other vehicle information.

The information may be aggregated to create a large database of driver records, further improving the accuracy of information relayed to the driver.

Hyundai has yet to confirm if this system will go into production.
