Martina Navratilova, the former Czech-American player and former world No. 1, is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Recently US President Joe Biden proposed a prisoner swap between two incarcerated basketball players Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan Serving a sentence in a Russian prison in exchange for a notorious Russian arms dealer Victor fight. Former US President Donald Trump, during an interview on a radio show, expressed his disapproval of the US government’s idea for a possible swap that would release Griner from prison in Russia.

Martina Navratilova again attacks Donald Trump for his obnoxious behavior
On her social media account Twitter, Navratilova shared a post lashing out at the former US President donald trumptakes up the issue by discriminating against black and lesbian people and criticizing his obnoxious behavior towards people. She said, “But if of course – a black lesbian – what else would he say?” She went on to say that Russians are preferred to Americans, notably that discrimination tends to be more directed against blacks. She added: “Furthermore, TFG always sides with Russia, not America.” She called out Trump for acting like an idiot, which didn’t sit well with her at all.
It’s not the first time Navratilova has criticized the former US President. Previously, when there was a post about a burger joint named after the former president, the owner was a big Trump fan. When she found the post, she retweeted it with a caption of 3 vomit emojis, expressing her disapproval.
She has always been open with her views by sharing her opinions on various issues on the social media platform on issues related to transgender rights and opportunities and even many political matters. She has often expressed her desire to enter politics and serve in the public service. Aside from being a legend in tennis, she is a social activist who campaigns for animal rights and disadvantaged children. Navratilova is critical of the admission of trans women in women’s sport and even expressed her frustration afterward Lia Thomas was nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year.
